The Way of the Shadow Martial Arts Academy is located in Torrance, CA and is one of the largest and most uniquely-styled martial arts studios in the South Bay area. The academy's 3,000 square feet consists mostly of a traditional-style indoor space, but it also has an open outdoor space used for special events. Our Dojo has a full list of amenities including a completely equipped training floor, class viewing area, two restrooms, locker room, retail area, private office, and kids' play area.
The Training Area
Students can experience their Kage No Michi Ninjutsu training inside our traditionally-styled Dojo. Our large training floor is padded with top-of-the-line Zebra Tatami Mats in order to ensure comfortable and safe classes. The training floor is fully equipped with focus mitts, kicking shields, sparring gear, training weapons, shuriken targets, grappling dummies, and everything else needed for an effective and fun training experience. Additionally, training sessions are energized by music coming from speakers mounted throughout the training area.
Other Amenities Family and friends can cheer on their martial artist in our spacious viewing area or relax and enjoy complimentary coffee in our lobby area. Our locker room provides a secure place for personal belongings and training equipment. Kids are able to hang out before or after class in our homework/play room equipped with an Xbox 360, books, study table, and games. Our retail area is stocked with supplies, equipment, drinks, snacks, and apparel to supplement your training. To ensure the safety of our students, the facility is monitored by CCTV.
